Did you know that Lakewood Cemetery welcomes an estimated 10,000 visitors annually?

This stunning property includes public gardens, flowering crabapple trees, fragrant flowers, architectural landmarks and green spaces that impart a sense of peace and calm.

Lakewood Cemetery recently received global recognition from ArbNet’s Arboretum Accreditation Program. To celebrate, Lakewood is hosting “Sunday’s at Lakewood” on April 30th from 10am-1pm. This free, themed event will include a guided tree tour, free seedlings, and tying ribbons to the Living Memory Tree.

Lakewood is open to the public and is a perfect destination this spring/summer to soak in nature at its finest.

My daughters and I had the best time visiting Eagl

My daughters and I had the best time visiting Eagle Eye Farm and their award winning alpacas. What a beautiful property just over the boarder in River Falls, WI. We love that they believe in sustainability and offer amazing products including luxurious yarn. After meeting each alpaca, my daughter (who loves to knit) thought is was unique to be able to choose yarn from her favorite alpacas on the tour.

We also picked out a few selections of honey from their own apiary and indulged in a couple of all natural body products produced with lavender grown on the farm.

Would highly recommend this experience!
